Stories with Santa (Glos Museum)
Join us for a magical 30-minute session designed especially for little ones and their grown-ups. Gather together with other families to hear Santa tell a festive Christmas story, before each child gets the chance to meet Santa and collect a special present from the man himself.
The 30 minute sessions will run limited days during December. Tickets cost £15.00 (1 Child and 1 Adult) and include entry to the museum on that day.
We have a wonderful range of festive drinks and cakes available in our tea rooms and an Elf trail in the galleries, so relax in the warm before or after your Santa experience.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your allocated session time, as the experience will begin promptly at the advertised time.
If you are travelling by car, please allow plenty of time for parking as Gloucester Quays can be very busy during December.
Your ticket includes entry for one child and one adult. Additional adults can either purchase standard museum admission on the day or use a valid annual pass.
Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is recommended.
What will happen during the 30-minute session?
Your session will be a shared experience with other families.
Children will sit on a rug in front of Santa, while adults can sit or stand behind them. Santa will read a festive Christmas story, followed by an opportunity for the children to chat with him.
At the end of the session, each child will have the chance to go up and collect their special present from Santa.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely! You are welcome to take photos of your own child or children with Santa.
To protect everyone's privacy, please do not take photographs or videos of other children or families.
What age is the experience aimed at?
There is no age limit, but we think Stories with Santa will be particularly enjoyed by children aged 2–9 years. Older children have enjoyed the experience too!
Babies aged 12 months and under are welcome to attend for free, but they will not receive a present. If you would like your baby to receive a present please tick the Under one with gift when purchasing your tickets..
